Would a stranger get your page in 10 seconds?
Five AI visitors (simulated, not real people) read your page the way cold traffic does: a 3-second glance, the first screen, then one screen at a time. You get a score out of 100, what they thought you sell, and what to fix.

Strangers got that it's online piano lessons, but not what £49 buys.
From the sample report: a test of a made-up piano course page.
“It looks like an online course for learning piano as an adult beginner, with short video lessons you watch and follow.”Feed scroller, 3-second glance
“Plans section dodges again: only ‘from £49’, no plan list, no billing period, no renewal terms.”Sceptic, where they left
Fix 1: list the plans next to the button: price, billing period, whether it renews and how to cancel.

We test comprehension because it comes before conversion: a visitor who can't tell what you sell won't buy it.

How it compares with human review
Real people tell you things simulated visitors can't. Use us to find and fix the gaps in minutes, then pay for a human panel to confirm the version you'll launch.
| Option | Typical cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Landercheck5 simulated visitors | $4 a page | Score, fixes ranked by impact, in about 5 minutes |
| Quick human polle.g. a 5-second test, 50 people | $50–100 | Short reactions from a general panel, usually same day |
| Survey panel20 people matching your audience | $20–900+ | Per-response panel fees, higher for targeted or B2B people, often on top of a monthly plan |
| Business buyer panelpeople in your buyers' job roles | From about $900 a test | Detailed feedback from verified professionals |
| Recorded user testsvideos of people using your site | $25,000+ a year | Video sessions on an annual contract |
Human-panel prices are typical US prices from the tools' own pricing pages, or industry estimates where a tool doesn't publish them (user-testing platforms), October 2026. They change; check before you buy.
How a test works
Glaux is the owl in our logo, named after Athena's little owl, the Greek symbol of seeing clearly. The glance
A blurred first screen and its biggest words. What do they think it is?
The first screen
Sharp now. What is it, who is it for, what happens if they tap the button?
The scroll
One screen at a time. They say when they'd leave, and what's still unanswered.
The score
What they understood, checked against what you actually sell.
Five strangers, five ways of reading
Different goals, different patience, different AI models, so one reader's habits don't decide your score.
Why the first ten seconds matter
Visitors often leave a page within 10 to 20 seconds. To hold them, it has to get its value across in the first 10.
Landing pages written in plain language (a 5th to 7th grade reading level) converted 56% better than pages at an 8th to 9th grade level, and nearly twice as well as pages written at a professional level.
People judge how appealing a page looks in about a twentieth of a second, and those snap ratings closely match the ones they give after a longer look.

Questions people ask first
See all questions →Why not just ask ChatGPT or Claude?
Landercheck runs on AI models too, Claude among them. The difference is the method around them. Ask a chatbot and you get one opinion from a reader that knows it's reviewing your page, sees all of it at once and may already know your brand. We hide your brand, show five different readers one screen at a time so nobody reads ahead, check every answer for outside knowledge, and score them on the same published rubric every time. Scores are benchmarked across pages from many brands and checked against panels of real people, so a 72 means the same thing on every page. And versus a human review: a quick human poll costs about $50–100 and comes back the same day; a test here is $4 and takes about 5 minutes. Use us to find and fix the gaps, then pay for people to confirm the version you launch.
Is it really free?
Your first test is free, and you don't need to sign up to see your score. After that, a test is $4, or from $2.50 a page in packs. One-off payments, no subscription, and unused tests don't expire.
What do I get from a test?
A comprehension score out of 100 with a likely range, and three first impressions in the visitors' own words. Add your email and you get the full report free: fixes ranked by points gained, what every visitor understood, where they'd have left, and the questions that would stop them buying. Who are the “strangers”? Are they real people?
They're five simulated visitors, each with a different goal and reading style, running on different AI models. They're not real people. They find the gaps most strangers hit, in minutes, but they don't replace testing with your real customers.
