What do I get from a test?
A comprehension score out of 100 with a likely range, and three first impressions in the visitors' own words. Add your email and you get the full report free: fixes ranked by points gained, what every visitor understood, where they'd have left, and the questions that would stop them buying.
How long does a test take?
About 5 minutes. You can leave the page open and it updates by itself, and we email you a link when the full report is ready.
What's a good score?
80 or more is “Clear at a glance”: strangers get it within 10 seconds. 60 to 79 is “Clear on scroll”: they get it, but only after scrolling. 40 to 59 is “Partly clear”: visitors leave unsure what you sell. Under 40 is “Unclear”: the story needs fixing before anything else.
Is this a design review?
No. We don't judge looks, SEO or best-practice checklists. We test one thing: whether a stranger understands what you sell.
How it works
Who are the “strangers”? Are they real people?
They're five simulated visitors, each with a different goal and reading style, running on different AI models. They're not real people. They find the gaps most strangers hit, in minutes, but they don't replace testing with your real customers.
Why not just ask ChatGPT or Claude?
Landercheck runs on AI models too, Claude among them. The difference is the method around them. Ask a chatbot and you get one opinion from a reader that knows it's reviewing your page, sees all of it at once and may already know your brand. We hide your brand, show five different readers one screen at a time so nobody reads ahead, check every answer for outside knowledge, and score them on the same published rubric every time. Scores are benchmarked across pages from many brands and checked against panels of real people, so a 72 means the same thing on every page. And versus a human review: a quick human poll costs about $50–100 and comes back the same day; a test here is $4 and takes about 5 minutes. Use us to find and fix the gaps, then pay for people to confirm the version you launch.
Why do you hide my brand name?
So visitors judge the page, not what they already know about you. Any visitor that recognises the brand anyway is replaced by a fresh one.
Do you test on a phone?
Yes, phone first, because that's where most paid and social traffic lands. We check the desktop first screen at the end.
Can I test any page, including a competitor's?
Any public page. Pages behind a login or a paywall can't be tested.
Can I re-test after making changes?
Yes. Your past pages are one tap away on “Test another page”, and each report keeps its date and method version so you can compare.
Price and account
Is it really free?
Your first test is free, and you don't need to sign up to see your score. After that, a test is $4 / £4 / €4, or from $2.50 / £2.40 / €2.80 a page in packs. One-off payments, no subscription, and unused tests don't expire.
Which currencies can I pay in?
US dollars, pounds or euros. We pick one from your country and you can switch next to any price. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Why do you ask for my email?
To send your free full report and keep your tests and reports in one account. There's no password: you sign in with a link we email you.
Do you have codes for free tests?
Sometimes, for betas and partners. Enter a code on the buy screen or on “Test another page”, and the tests go straight into your account.
Privacy
What happens to my page and my data?
We load your page once, as a visitor would. We never submit forms or log in. We keep the page address, score and the visitors' answers, and delete the page screenshots after 90 days. Your results stay private unless you share the link, and you can delete your account at any time.
Who can see my results?
Only you, unless you share the report link. People you share it with see the full report, no sign-up needed, and can claim 2 free tests for their own pages.
